Taught by man

There is no such thing as typical when it comes to greatness. Typical is often a concept in human development taught by those seeking standardization of the human endeavor. Typical should be left as a data point. Allow your data point to indicate greatness. You have greatness within you. Typical is something outside you. Listen to what is within and be aware of what is outside of you. Never allow all that is outside of you to be absorbed within you. Eric S. Lee in his book, 29 Degrees, defines greatness as the “inner power you were bestowed with at your birth”. Each of us was born with unique and inherent greatness. Our DNA defines us and our genetic expression determines how we live our lives. You are unable to control your birth DNA but you can control your genetic expression. Each of us has a unique and inherent authentic identity which too often remains dormant because of the pressures found in conformity. The explanation of the Authentic Identity can be found at This is our philosophy and explains why we believe in your unique greatness. You were never meant to be typical.

Environmental equilibrium

Our world, our society, and even our neighborhoods contain the negativity that seeks to make you typical. Fashion is all about typical. The commercial ads daily bombarded seek to make you typical. We are born unique and the indoctrination bombardment begins. It is not all bad. Blue for Boy and Pink for Girl is not a plot to take over our world. But we must be aware of the forces that wish for our conformity. The pressure to conform and achieve typical status is tremendous and has the potential to overwhelm the soul. We are told to listen to the institutions of society. We are asked to trade ours believes for the beliefs of institutions. Institutional truths can become individual truths and thus erasing an individual’s authentic truth. This process almost always goes unnoticed. What we are being served as truth is not always your truth. And yet we continue in our institutional grazing of what is being served instead of understanding our inherent greatness. If a restaurant served poisoned food – would you dine there? We must ask ourselves why are we dining on information provided by institutions that fail to recognize individual uniqueness. “Man is not born to solve the problems of the universe, but to find out what he has to do”. We must find what it is we must do and that can only be found once we embrace our authentic identity. Jeff Bezos informs us "The world wants you to be typical…The world will always try to make Amazon more typical--to bring us into equilibrium with our environment. It will take continuous effort, but we can and must be better than that." You must avoid being brought into equilibrium with your environment. You must be better. Unique is better.

Only you

We ask that you live your authentic identity. To live authentically is something that only you can do. You are uniquely qualified to be you. No one else was given your greatness. Each of us must unpeel the onion and reveal what is at our core. You can’t truly live as you if you are covered with lies. Typical is a lie. We ask that you remove the layer of lies and reveal the true you. Rediscover who you are and do it with purpose. You must not fail. The world begins anew once you rediscover who you were born to be and connect with your authentic identity. A rediscovery ignites the passion for your purpose. The world may never understand and you become misunderstood by all those that criticize. But the needs the experience of your potential. Never be afraid to be misunderstood. “Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.” Ralph Waldo Emerson.

“You were born with potential.

You were born with goodness and trust.

You were born with ideals and dreams.

You were born with greatness.

You were born with wings.

You are not meant for crawling, so don't.

You have wings.

Learn to use them and fly.”
